She is also Professor Emerit of Psychology at the University of Oregon, and Adjunct Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences in the School of Medicine, Faculty Fellow at the Clayman Institute for Gender Research, and Affiliated Faculty, Women's Leadership Lab, Stanford University.

Professor Bethany Brand

Bethany Brand, Ph.D. has over 25 years of clinical experience, with expertise in treating and assessing trauma. She has been honoured with the Martha E. Mitten Endowed Professorship as well as teaching, research and clinical awards including the Cornelia B. Dr Janina Fisher

Christine A. Courtois, PhD, ABPP, is a board-certified counselling psychologist, retired from clinical practice in Washington, DC, is now a licensed psychologist, author and consultant/trainer on trauma psychology and treatment in Bethany Beach, Delaware.

Professor Bessel van der Kolk

Bessel van der Kolk, MD, spends his career studying how children and adults adapt to traumatic experiences, and has translated emerging findings from neuroscience and attachment research to develop and study a range of treatments for traumatic stress in children and adults.

Dr Colin A. Ross

Colin A. Ross, M.D., completed medical school at the University of Alberta and his psychiatry training at the University of Manitoba in Canada. He is a Past President of the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation, and is the author of over 230 papers and 34 books.

Professor Emerit Ervin Staub

Ervin Staub, PhD, has been president of the International Society of Political Psychology as well as the Society for the Study of Peace, Conflict, and Violence (Division 48 of the American Psychological Association). From the latter organization, he received the "Award for life-long contributions to peace psychology."

Eliana Gil, Ph.D., RPT-S, ATR is a Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor, Registered Art Therapist and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist best known for her ground-breaking clinical work and research with children, teens and families impacted by trauma and abuse.

Professor Eve Carlson

Eve Carlson, PhD is a Clinical Professor who focuses on fostering mental health after traumatic stress. She is a clinical psychologist and a researcher with the of the National Center for Posttraumatic Stress Disorder’s Dissemination and Training Division.

Dr Eli Kotler

Eli Kotler, MD, is a consultant psychiatrist, holds an academic position at Monash University through the Alfred Psychiatry Research Centre, and is the medical director of Malvern Private Hospital, the first addiction hospital in Australia.

Christine Forner

Christine Forner, BA, BSW, MSW, RSW, has over thirty years’ experience working with individuals with Trauma, Post Traumatic Stress Disorders, Traumatic Dissociation, Developmental Trauma and Dissociative Disorders.

Dr Frank Anderson

Frank Anderson, MD, completed his residency and was a clinical instructor in psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. He is both a psychiatrist and psychotherapist. He specializes in the treatment of trauma and dissociation and is passionate about teaching brain-based psychotherapy and integrating current neuroscience knowledge with the IFS model of therapy.

Professor Emerit Eli Somer

Eli Somer PhD, a clinical psychologist, is also full clinical professor emeritus of psychology at the University of Haifa School of Social Work. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in psychology, sociology and anthropology and his Master’s degree in clinical psychology from the University of Haifa (1975, 1980). His doctoral degree in Counselling Psychology (University of Florida, 1985).

Prof Warwick Middleton

Professor Warwick Middleton MB BS, FRANZCP, MD, has considerable ongoing involvement with research, writing, teaching (including workshops and seminar presentations), supervision, conference convening and the chairing of Medical Assessment Tribunals.

Naomi Halpern

Naomi trained as a social worker in the UK.
